Seacove Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026.
The short version
seacoveapp.com sets no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. There is no cookie consent banner on this site, and there does not need to be one.
Why there is no banner
Under the EU’s ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, a website needs your consent before it stores or reads a cookie or similar tracking technology on your device, unless that cookie is strictly necessary for the site to function. Seacove’s website does not ask for that consent because it does not use anything that would require it.
The site measures traffic using Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics is built to work without cookies, without any script that fingerprints your browser, and without any persistent identifier tied to you across visits. It counts page views and basic performance metrics in aggregate. It cannot single you out, and it does not need your consent to run, because it does not store anything on your device at all.
No advertising network operates on seacoveapp.com. No third-party embed, tracking pixel, or social media “like” button sets a cookie on this site either.
What this policy does and does not cover
This policy covers seacoveapp.com, the marketing and support website, only.
It does not cover the Seacove app itself, which is a separate product with its own data practices, including the free tier’s contextual advertising. The app’s advertising is covered in section 14 of the Privacy page, not here, because it is a different technology (in-app ad requests, not browser cookies) governed by a different legal framework. That section states plainly: the app’s ads are never personalised, and no advertising identifier tied to you is ever sent to an ad network.
This policy also does not cover local storage the website may use purely to remember your chosen language when you use the locale selector, since that is a browser storage mechanism you set yourself by clicking a button, not a cookie placed on you without action, and it stores nothing that identifies you.
Third-party links
The website links out to the Apple App Store and Google Play, and to Instagram and TikTok. Once you click through to one of those, you are on that company’s own site or app, under its own cookie and privacy practices, not Seacove’s. Check their own policies before you decide what to accept there.
If this ever changes
If Seacove’s website ever adds anything that does require cookie consent (a new analytics tool, an embedded video player, anything else that stores something on your device), this policy will be updated first, and a proper consent mechanism will be built and shown to you before that change goes live, not after. Nothing like that is in the plan today.
